February 2018 Dividend Income

Hundred dollar bills in dividend incomeThe month of February is in the books and it is that time to report monthly dividend income received. I enjoy publishing these monthly dividend income reports as I have gained a much better understanding in how much of my passive income is coming in every month and how much it is growing over time. For the month of February I have received a total of 9 diversified direct deposits in the form of dividends straight to my brokerage account. Lets take a look!

 AT&T, Inc. (T) $68.39
 General Mills, Inc. (GIS) $22.48
 Verizon Communications, Inc. (VZ) $49.55
 British American Tobacco (BTI) $14.56
 Apple, Inc. (AAPL) $24.96
 Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) $20.86
Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) $27.86
 Realty Income Corp. (O) $19.50
 STAG Industrial, Inc. (STAG) $5.37
Total $253.53

When statistically comparing last years dividend income total from February 2017 to February 2018, it represents a positive 33.5% for a year over year increased dividend income growth.

I will DRIP the following upcoming month: BKE, KMI, VIAB & VYM.

The dividend income page is updated accordingly.

Thank you for reading & have a great day!

    Vet –

Hell yah! Killer increase and I hope that the dividend increases keep coming. My eyes are on the lookout for KMI throughout this whole year, as long as they execute on their capital strategy.

Lanny, oh don’t get me started with KMI. It is a dud, where I failed on so many levels even though multiple warning signs were displaying. I am officially a bag holder of this stock with a bad taste in my mouth and bruises on the chin. Nevertheless, great learning lesson! Technical analysis is telling me that there should be some upside coming up to the price of the stock soon.

      All the best Lanny!

Cash on Cash on Cash to build that continual stream of Cash!

Somewhere I heard, “If you are not growing, you are dying”.

Nice work, DV. I share PG and O with you, and even added to O this month. Those telecom companies delivered a hefty amount for you in February. Love to see the AAPL dividend… any thoughts on the AAPL additions by Warren Buffett? I’d like to own some additional tech companies.

    • DividendVet on March 4, 2018 at 11:44

Oh those telecom oligopolies, true lone giants in the industry, I only wish I had more shares of them two.

Buffett is finally realizing he was wrong on investing in IBM and wrong of not investing in AAPL. Not sure what he sees, but what I see is the massive opportunity of AAPL bringing home its billions back home and investing it here in US through longterm dividends, buybacks, acquisitions and R&D. This company is IT folks! Proud owner of my shares since 2012.

      Best wishes.

What a great dividend month you had! I saw payments from GIS and PG too. VZ is on my watch list. I also have a monthly paying REIT but I chose LTC instead of O. DIvidend growth investing is just so motivating, isn’t it?

Glad to hear some good you are reaping your ownership income from these great companies. It truly is motivating when you see the dividend income continue to climb in a staircase fashion. Up the stairs we go!

      Good hearing your feedback.
