June 2014 Dividend Income

Dividend_Income_MoneyI hope everyone is enjoying this amazing summer with family, friends and your loved ones. It is without a doubt my favorite time of the year. It is the time to relax and unwind from our daily stressors and I have been doing my fair share of relaxing at the local pool quite regularly. The the best part of all is that it is 100% free. Here is the picture of it below. Lets keep it going!

The month of June went by fairly quickly and I expect the same from the next couple of months. I have not made any new acquisitions and this was primarily due to large portion of my saving going towards a vacation to Europe. Me and my wife have been planning this trip for while now and soon we will be off to visit our birth country of Lithuania. It should be interesting because I have not been there over 17 years, so it will be exiting exploring the changes since last seen.

On the other hand, my portfolio of great businesses has been doing its thing and distributing dividends on regular basis, like clockwork baby. For the month of June 2014 I have received 17 different payments to account for a total of $278.11. Historically, when looking back at June 2013 I have received a total of $105.32, which is an improvement of 163.6% compared to this June 2014. My main focus still stands to build higher and higher passive income source. I am not sure what is the exact number I am aiming for, since I believe my journey is still at a very young stage. For now generating any passive income sure beats none. Thank you for reading and following.

  • Aflac, Inc. (AFL) – $14.89

Thanks for sharing your recent dividend update with us. Over $200 for a month is a nice passive income stream. I see we share a few stocks in common too. Take care!

My pleasure, I enjoy tracking and posting this information for people as much as some of you like reading.

Yeah, you know $200 is a decent chunk of change. Though, gotta start small before it can get large enough.

      Take care.

Congrats Vet. Great month in surpassing $278 in dividends. Looking forward to own some of the companies in this list (MCD, JNJ, AFL etc) in the near future.

    • DividendVet on July 13, 2014 at 13:55

Thank you. $278 is nothing shabby, and you gotta start somewhere. Glad to have you as a future fellow shareholder, and lets hope the prices will drop so we can all buy at a discount.

      Have a good one.

    DV,

Another great month. That $278 turns into $300, then $400, then $500…

The snowball just continues to roll downhill. 🙂

    Keep it up!

    Best wishes.

      DM,

I appreciate it. You are absolutely right about that and you are the living proof of a very nice snowball going for yourself.

      Thanks for stopping by.

Congrats and well done! Next year 350$ 🙂

    • DividendVet on July 2, 2014 at 09:10

Hey thanks! $350 in a single month would be tremendous. The best part is that I know it is reachable goal, hopefully sooner than later.

You keep up the good work on your end too.

      Take care.
