November 2014 Dividend Income

Hundred dollar bills in dividend incomeNovember is done! The big story to end this month is oil prices, and the tumble it has taken over these last few days is just spectacular. Lots of energy companies on sale! Anyways, lets get back to real tangible things in this world and that my friends are dividends. Love them, need them, can not live without them! The portfolio that I have build up these last few years have brought another fruitful month. I enjoy publishing these dividend income reports as I have gained a better understanding of how much of passive income is coming in every month and how much it is growing over time. I have received a total of 9 direct deposits for the month of November. When compared dividend income to last years total in November 2013, it presents a 36.1% year over year growth. The comparison from last quarter is 3.9% quarter over quarter increased growth.

Just recently I have created a goals page to keep myself accountable and committed to dividend growth investments. This November’s dividend income has accomplished my goal of earning $2,000 in dividends!

This is also my biggest monthly dividend payout ever.

Another big news is that I will be purchasing a property pretty soon, so I have major surprises and a bit of revamping of my investing portfolio to do. The main reason behind that is to liquidate some funds in order to accumulate a substantial downpayment on a property. I will be discussing the recent sales of company ownerships I have made in a very near future. Also, if everything goes well with the closing, I will be discussing the details and the breakdown of the loan and a grant I received and for the property itself. Pretty exiting things ahead, hope to keep you guys well informed.

    Hey DV,

Great job on the dividend income, and congrats to you for reaching that $2,000 milestone! Also, that is very exciting about your new property. I finally purchased my first home back in september, and so far it has been a great experience! Good luck to you.

    Cheers,

    Josh

Much appreciated! It has been a very enjoyable progression to the milestone and the growth of the portfolio.

Good looking site and welcome to our dividend blogging community.

      Best wishes.

Congrats on the new property! Can we expect a bit of a slow down of purchases for a while ? Best of luck.

Well, don’t congratulate me as of yet we haven’t signed the closing document, but I appreciate it. As for the slow down, I am still going to be actively saving large portion of my paychecks while investing it into high quality companies and keep building my money making machine.

      Good hearing from you.

I’m looking forward to hearing more about the property too. Sounds like you have a solid plan to unfold.

    • DividendVet on December 1, 2014 at 12:56

It is a solid plan with even better purchase price. Hope to deliver it with a bang!

Glad to have you stop by.

    DV,

Congrats on reaching your $2k goal! 🙂

Looking forward to reading more about this property. Sounds like you’re really excited. I’m happy for you.

    Best regards.

Thank you Jason. Learned from the best! The $2k in passive income just shows that there are better ways to earn income, rather than trading time for money. To me, it is the ultimate form of income.

Yeah, me and my wife are stoked to finally have our own place. We prolonged it without buying a property for the longest and it was time to own rather to rent. Will keep you posted!

      Best of luck.
