November 2018 Dividend Income

Hundred dollar bills in dividend incomeTime is flying too fast when you are having fun. Speaking of fun, it is time to tally up the passive dividend income I have received for the month of December from all my various investments. The portfolio has truly become the golden goose that continues laying growing dividends! I enjoy publishing these monthly dividend income reports as I have gained a much better understanding in how much of my passive income is coming in every month and how much it is growing over time. For the month of November I have received a total of 9 diversified direct deposits in the form of dividends straight to my brokerage account. Here is the moolah!

 AT&T, Inc. (T) $68.39
 General Mills, Inc. (GIS) $22.97
 Apple, Inc. (AAPL) $28.92
 Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) $58.97
Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) $29.52
 Realty Income Corp. (O) $19.72
 STAG Industrial, Inc. (STAG) $5.37
 British American Tobacco (BTI) $16.37
 Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) $18.00
Total $268.23

When statistically comparing last years dividend income total from November 2017 to November 2018, it represents a positive 20.8% for a year over year increased dividend income growth.

Also, BKE should be announcing a special dividend on top of the regular dividend this December as I added to my current position a substantial 5 figure trade to this holding. BKE has been paying special dividend around this time for the last 6 years in a row. Probability is high they will again!

Additionally, I’ve sold my full position stake in VZ not too long ago which I thought can go down for a lower price and and I can buy it back. I was not able to buy it back before the dividend was paid as the market went down and VZ decided to keep going up. VZ actually broke through multi-year resistance level at around $55 which caught me by surprise as I was expecting it to bounce off of it and go down. Either way, my next entry point for VZ is around $47 and just need to remind myself to stay patient and wait for that opportunity to show up later.

I will DRIP the following upcoming month: BKE, GIS, KMI, VNQ & VYM.

The dividend income page is updated accordingly.

We have to choose in life if you want progress / growth or we do not, anything that is not growing is essentially dying. With DGI growth the way of life, slow, but steady…

      Happy Holidays!

Hi Congratulations to your results! You have a very well-ordered portfolio. It’s good to see how your dividend income is growing and growing. I use similar principles to build my own portfolio.
