October 2021 Dividend Income

Hundred dollar bills in dividend incomeUsually October is fairly milder dividend income month of the year, but it looks like it was just hit out of the park for this month. All very special thanks to $ORI, my all time favorite industry of domination – insurance. Who doesn’t like premiums for promises. I know I do, especially when some of the finest lawyers draw up the promises with entanglement of rules and requirements. Definitely the MVP for the dividend income month with a huge special dividend distribution to its owners. But I think the best fact is that $ORI paid a regular dividend of $75.90 just last month (September). Not that $ORI is a stranger to special dividends, it has been paying them almost on yearly basis, more info here. To many more years ahead!
I enjoy publishing these monthly dividend income reports as I have gained a much better understanding in how much of my passive income is coming in every month and how much it is growing over time. For the month of October I have received a total of 8 diversified direct deposits in the form of dividends straight to my brokerage account.

This growth was really boosted by $ORI huge special dividend. Talking about getting some of your investment back, almost 10% back just with this special dividend payout – BOOM!
